My personal fave was Sun and Moon. It may have been more hand-holdy than I liked but it let me
do all my favorite things. There was a minigame for taking pictures of wild pokemon, and they let me grow berries. Just let me grow berries! Aaaagh!

The first time I entered battle and he was so tall his little battle sprite stuck up off the screen I was enthralled. I don’t like “regular” exeggutor now. They’re so dumpy looking.
I did Red and Blue but kept playing them.
