I haven’t worn a wrist watch for 30 years. I’m, now, considering getting one. If it helps, I have an iMac desktop, an iPod Touch and an iPhone SE.
I highly recommend going with a casio f-91W or one of its variants, like the metal band one.
Extremely light, cheap, reliable, 10+ year battery life, works underwater, and it doesn’t spy on you.
If you’re considering a “smart” watch, the $27 PineTime looks pretty cool. See its wiki and FAQ for details.
Otherwise, the Casio F-91W is the way to go. Aside from being an affordable and reliable time piece, it can also be a conversation starter: more than a dozen Guantanamo detainees had their possession of this watch cited as evidence of terrorism.
Thanks. It’s too bad that iOS isn’t supported yet. However, I can wait. Ironically, one of the last watches that I used was the Casio F-91W. The other was a Swatch.
Oh lol you already used that one.
Yeah, back in the eighties as a teenager lol.
InfiniLink is a (work-in-progress) “iOS Companion App” for the PineTime
Neat thanks!
