Is “silly coded” a real thing people are saying, or is it just a thing you say? And what does it mean exactly?

I’m just trying to keep abreast of unusual new phrases when I stumble upon them :-D

It’s something my partner and I say but one of us had to have heard it somewhere. I typically use it to mean silly in a wholesome or playful way

As someone else mentioned “X coded” is becoming more popular. Originally, it referred to things like race or sexuality- where a character or race intentionally or unintentionally evoked stereotypes or traits associated with real people. It’s become a bit more generalized, as KYM explains https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/coded-slang
