Open question for @sydney and #Sydney on Mastodon: If the suburbs around Chatswood and Crows Nest are on the Lower North Shore, and the area around Hornsby is the Upper North Shore, then what’s Ryde?

I especially like the descriptions of Hornsby as being either “Not Sydney” or the North Shore’s “Buffer zone”. My only quibble is with the North Shore map showing anything on the south side of the harbour. True story: I used to work for a company that had its offices in St Leonards because the boss hated crossing the bridge.
