As someone born and raised in Athens, I’m afraid this won’t be the last time…

Climate change is only part of the story here, the Greek government (not just this administration) is mired in mismanagement, inefficiencies, and corruption. In 2018, over 100 people lost their lives in a fire like these, and still no lessons were learned.

As sad as it is, it has become so common place for those of us living in the western United States.
