Thousands of small business owners stormed the Guangzhou offices of Temu, an online retail giant, earlier this month. They protested the platform’s financial penalties and return policies, arguing that these measures are crippling small businesses.

    I do. If it weren’t for my default of siding with consumers I’d say I wouldn’t blame businesses for not engaging refunds/RMA unless they got the faulty goods back. If for no other reason than to see how their shit is fucking up so they can fix future lines. I don’t think it’s unreasonable that if I demand my money back for a substandard/faulty product that the company request the product be returned.

    To the point though, yeah, I assume these suppliers are asserting that all the refund request are fraudulent or that they’re being taken for a ride.
