Disgraced sports doctor Larry Nassar has been stabbed multiple times during an altercation with another incarcerated person at a federal prison in Florida.
Prison authorities definitely try to prevent it, if for no other reason than it makes conditions dangerous for them too. It’s terrible that it’s celebrated in popular culture though for sure.
Most of the time I would agree. On the other hand, a serial child molester is not someone that is likely ever going to be able to change, even if they’re given every opportunity through rehabilitation (which US prisons do not do in the first place), so I have a hard time feeling bad for him in particular.
I don’t defend child molesters, but it’s terrible that prison violence is tolerated in the US.
