…why is there a borderlands movie?
Fair question. Also, why do I already know that Kevin Hart’s character in this movie will be indistinguishable from Kevin Hart in any other movie?
Probably because I didn’t even realize this existed until just now. Same thing with the BioShock movie that I’m sure a lot of you only just now learned about because of this comment. If I knew it even existed or was even being made I’d be totally down to see it even if it’s awful. That just sounds like a marketing failure to me.
I did hear that borderlands was being made into a movie but had no idea it was already out. And you are correct this is the first I am hearing about a BioShock movie. Marketing failures indeed.
Directing failure it sounds like too. Who saw the fandom around borderlands and thought that that cast would hype the fans.
I like all the actresses and actors but they just seemed like a poor fit for the story.
Yep same here, had no idea
the culprit
I didn’t know about Borderlands movie until I saw the trailer during D&W
Cate Blanchett and Jamie Lee Curtis would have made this a maybe, but Kevin Hart as Roland?
Hard pass.
Because I’m not paying $45 for two people to watch a 90 min film.
Probably because it looks like microwaved dogshit.
You don’t preorder games, and you certainly don’t preorder movies based on games.
Didn’t even know it was out…
I thought it was a straight to streaming movie I had no idea it was in theaters.
i knew there was a borderlands movie in decelopement, but had no idea its actually done.
I might go, but only because I subscribe to a movie ticket club and have a few tickets in my bank.
I’m in s a similar situation. I have some free passes so I might go see it
