Update on the coming out thing: my parents waited a day before pouring out all their shitty misinformed takes, and I’ve had an incredibly horrible evening :(

I think it’s more of the former, but they’re really fucking stubborn. They’ve dismissed all my feelings in exchange for their own “but we couldn’t tell you’ve been [dysphoric] (they don’t know any terminology) all this time, so what you said can’t be true!”
