The cardinals have like the unshelled and broken peanuts and the sunflower seeds. The woodpeckers have enjoyed mealworm suet with sunflower seeds, though they’ll also hit up the feeders to get the sunflower seeds. I’ve been tempted to try one of these peanut wreaths so I can leave nuts out for the jays without all the squirrels taking them first.
