    Why was the dog even unleashed and inside the car during this maneuver.

    This could have gone real bad. Classic suburbanites in their bubble.

    We’re they expecting the dog to hit the break? BTW trying to stop the car from rolling back down was a bad idea. Let it go, get out of way. That thing weighs a thousand pounds

      I used to drive a super light car. If it stalled and I couldn’t restart it I could literally just run with it in neutral. People would come help even though it was easy to solo up to about the hill level in that video. But then it became above my skill level to continue maintaining it and I got a several generations newer model and that was never happening again. I got a roadside assistance membership which has saved my ass many times and they’ll even pick me up if I’m cycling and get a flat or riding the ebike and the battery dies.
