    Permission? Who would Romania need permission from to guard their territory? Maybe something is lost in translation

      Shooting down Russian drones in Ukrainian airspace is a serious escalation. The drones are in Romanian airspace for mere seconds.

      Also Romania needs all the allies it can get. So it will not piss off its NATO allies.

      Maybe they are refering to shot them down from Ukraine or Russian airspace?
