Wish I could have one of them old 14 inch ThinkPads - maybe the T or the P series, with six or more physical cores. My current laptop is mangled, with missing screws, battery that can’t hold power, and I’m not sure how long it can hold. Can’t afford to even get an older, refurbished device atm.

That’s it? I saw a dude who got a DJI Mavic 2 (I think) from the return item that no one bothered to collect from Amazon, for free.

I like the cheap market for old thinkpads on ebay, sucks about your financial situation.

When I worked appartment buildings, people would just throw laptops out and I got a lot from there, DBAN’ing the hard drive obviously. I got a Latitude D430 from the trash, which when it was new at that spec (maxed out but for a 60gb hard drive) was a $2200 dollar machine.

yeah OP check out ebay or craigslist/facebook marketplace for your area. Used computers are great, don’t worry about them being officially refurbished or whatever.

Parts-Only listings on eBay are M.2 NVME devices, without Shitdows pre-installed, so that makes the devices quite a bit cheaper. I’d not be lying if I saw one on eBay for 60$. Plus the exorbitant shipping cost at 120$, but that’s still okay.
