I’m sure Trump would push as much through as possible with executive orders that Biden & co. wouldn’t dare attempt as it would violate “standards and norms.” On the other hand, Dems has made so much of their branding the last eight years around “stopping the Trump agenda” that they can’t get away with their usual genuflecting to “middle ground compromise.” Plus I think enough of the donor classes see Trump as a wild card and they’d be happy to have four years of status quo gridlock.

100% agree. The dems went from calling Trump literally Hitler to “get well soon xoxo” in a span of about 20 minutes. Their rhetoric is entirely devoid of meaning and they will turn on a dime on anything and everything if they feel like it.
