They don’t even sell their 12 packs at 0.99 cents per can on their own website. It’s definitely an advertising thing now and only true on paper.

This has nothing to do with the price in store. Just about every manufacturer who sells to end users has to price their products more when purchased direct. If manufacturers are under pricing distributors than the distributors won’t carry their product. Its mostly even done now as marketing to give customers a way of seeing what all is available and a way to purchase items not available in every area/store.

            Nah. I get it.

It’s a pretty famous joke tho. Because it wasn’t even really made up for Atlanta. I’ve probably heard someone in a Quick Stop say:

But the price is on the can tho

Maybe 20 times? Possibly more? That’s what makes the joke funny, it’s just an incredibly common thing to overhear, especially in the hood. If you never heard someone say it, I get your response, I wasn’t trying to be a dick, so sorry if it came off that way.

I wasn’t shocked you didn’t watch the video, I get that, it’s an unlabeled YouTube video.

I thought the comment was enough that people would now what video was linked.

But it’s a clip from Childish Gambino’s show Atlanta, just a couple minutes long, it’s worth the click.
