Do you think all library books should be available to all kids in public schools?

Then what is so bad with removing books they see as inappropriate for children?

There’s nothing evidence based or beneficial about the way they’re banning books. They’re just censoring what they don’t like.

What is not evidence based about banning books in public schools that have sexual content?

Show me the book, and show me the evidence, and you might have a point about one book. We’re talking about people who wholesale ban books about black history or featuring gay parents.

No they arent. Every time you guys freak out about this I look into it and the banning of the book is justified. For example a week or so ago it was “Anne Franks Diary”, which on the surface seems bad, but its actually a completely different book than “The Diary of Anne Frank”, the book most of us read in school. “Anne Franks Diary” has direct sexual content in it, and you can disagree that its bad, but it is arguably not appropriate for children.
