It is domination & submission with bonus sauce, the goal being many potential things, like simply being able to forget about anything more complicated than being someone’s pet, safely, sanely and consensually. This cannot be equated to sexually assaulting an animal which cannot consent and intellectually is not on the same level as humans, at all. To equate them to any degree is still cringe.
