The comment I actually replied to goes to that next actual step saying the joke is truthful. Not the end of the world but I don’t think calling it out is inappropriate.

I have been to both, and the stereotypes are wrong. Cooking skill is not inherent to race or culture, it’s within the individual at the stove.
