If you manage the finances with transparency, do not be afraid to give them visibility to the point of obnoxiousness. Wikipedia’s constant requests for money got me mildly angry many years ago, but being exposed to the need to maintain what is essentially a public service made me donate several times in the end.
True, I donated twice to them only because of their nagging 😄
