Google is way to compliant to DMCA request resulting in bad result. Bing doesnt seems to care and will happily link to live and replay of sport event (the main reason I use it personnaly) even as a first result.

because they are focused on themselves. They don’t want to see on a public forum an information they already know, not thinking that this information may be useful to others. It’s the Me Me Me attitude.
I hate that air of superiority that is in these comments… “oh everyone knows that”. It’s what makes some places intolerable where you can’t get a straight answer or good response because people are too busy circle jerking about how you should know something.
Knowing about something before others (and bragging about it) gives people a feeling of self-satisfaction.
