I wouldn’t call it an L. It’s just different, not necessarily better or worse. They have their views on what they want and don’t want their society in general and their young people in particular to be exposed to, and we should respect that.
I think the real L is what this guy in the video says about how military propaganda in video games is inevitable and ok because “how else are you going to get people to join the military?”.
And based on how they constantly call China’s government “authoritarian” and try to claim that China’s propaganda is more “extreme” than it is in other places i wouldn’t trust them to accurately portray the situation in China anyway.
