Really miss the Possibility to create custom feeds, containing different Subs (or communities). For example I had one that I called 3D Printing. When I chose it it was showing me posts from all the communities I added when creating it. So it made a feed containing posts on a specific topic over multiple communities. Especially here on Lemmy, where are some communities about the same topic spread over different instances that would make things a lot easier.

Thanks for that great app btw!

Yes, actually I am not really sure if that was an Apollo or Reddit feature, but I used that permanently.

It was a Reddit feature, but I’m pretty sure they killed it with new reddit and it only works on old. Definitely would like to see it implemented on Lemmy itself so I can browse the same ones on my computer as well as the app.

I exclusively used multireddits when I was on reddit

I’m fine with standard subscriptions on lemmy for now, but multi community buckets will elevate my experience immensely

Reddit had some kind of multi-subreddit feature, but regardless being able to group multiple communities with the same topic into a single feed would be a nice benefit.

Seconded! My most missed feature in these first days of Memmy (which is quite a good replacement in my daily routines :-))

We have an open issue about this on the Lemmy repo. If you’re interested in this, please keep up the conversation in the issue and hopefully someone will pick it up. Until then, it will be something fairly difficult to integrate.
