I just quickly scrolled down my feed for a few seconds and reached the limit. Twitter is actually unusable now.

Yup. 600. To get more you need to buy the blue checkmark.

In other words, Twitter is now a paid subscription service. It’s dead.

This is the point where we post “shittification of web platforms” graphs showing the Reddit’s future is the same as this.

Good thing I deleted my Twitter account the moment he bought it. It’s now total garbage.

The number of ads that won’t be seen because of this stupid decision…

The best part is that Space Muggle did that to prevent people from scrapping Twitter (which makes the API pricing irrelevant)

Looks like he’s learning how the internet works the hardest way possible and he’s not happy with that.

I can picture him losing his shit when someone explained him that there’s nothing to be done to prevent people from scrapping Twitter.

Do you remember what GeoHot was hired for?

    • disabling the “you must be logged in to see this thread”
    • “fixing” the search with a “one-liner JavaScript”

    This is so fucking hilarious.

Ignoring the asinine decision from Elon. What the actual fuck if this ad saying? I need to pay for a subscription, and only then will I have the option to further reduce the point of my existence by buying an ugly jacket? Oh no how else will I jet a stupid ass jacket, oh well.
