TIL there’s such a thing as a breakfast radish. Are they more mild or something?

Once again I must say how jealous I am of all your space. Everything looks wonderful, even if the soil isn’t exactly what you want it to be yet!

I worked on some of my indoor projects today until my body told me I was done. There’s always something to do…

I even kicked some of my indoor plants outside since I’m getting to the limits of my indoor spaces. A couple dill plants (sorry @hamid@vegantheoryclub.org), some chives, and a couple lettuce plants in soil all get to deal with mother nature instead of living on a shelving unit.

Yes, they are quite mild! I’m not a huge radish eater but they grow so fast I couldn’t help but toss some in. I’ll probably do another round and maybe make some kimchi.

      Hurray for gardening time!

I don’t have any issues with more traditional radishes. To be honest I don’t eat them like I used to. Another casualty of falling grocery store standards just like tomatoes.

We had some ancient carrot and radish seeds tucked away and I planted a few of each just to see what would sprout. It looks like just about all of them did, so I transplanted them all into soil and moved them outside today. There won’t be many, maybe a dozen or so of each, but now I have motivation to find a place to plant even more of those seeds. It never ends.
