    TIL there’s such a thing as a breakfast radish. Are they more mild or something?

    Yes, they are quite mild! I’m not a huge radish eater but they grow so fast I couldn’t help but toss some in. I’ll probably do another round and maybe make some kimchi.

    Hurray for gardening time!

      I don’t have any issues with more traditional radishes. To be honest I don’t eat them like I used to. Another casualty of falling grocery store standards just like tomatoes.

      We had some ancient carrot and radish seeds tucked away and I planted a few of each just to see what would sprout. It looks like just about all of them did, so I transplanted them all into soil and moved them outside today. There won’t be many, maybe a dozen or so of each, but now I have motivation to find a place to plant even more of those seeds. It never ends.
