The version of the metaverse presented in the article is completely dystopian. Not that the metaverse is something that is impressive or that will explode in popularity. We already got VRChat, and it’s nothing special (for many people). Unless this shit is pushed down our throats (e.g. the companies we work at forcing us to use it), it won’t make a difference.
