Hard to believe firms like Synapse exist, sounds like they’re in the business of collecting the money of thousands of people and organizing it into accounts, I guess under the FDIC limit individually, at a real bank. That’s just a lot of functionality to outsource with no planning and a surprising degree of buck passing for banks to allow.
