RIF refugee here as well. Tonight I go home, run the scripts to gibberish my post histories and then delete my accounts.

What are you using to make it gibberish? Power Delete Suite isn’t working for me anymore.
There is a fork that delays each API call by 5 seconds so the reddit system doesn’t reject your changes.
I will miss Infinity and Boost. Tho Infinity said would continue to exist as a paid subscription. But no, I cant afford a subscription for reddit. I rather pay once for Sync for Lemmy.
Reddit should be paying users for their content, not the other way round.
You can’t sell a car without paying for the nuts and bolts.
I will be interested in seeing if traffic here noticeably increases after today…

Baconreader has been my most used app for almost 10 years. I deleted all my posts. I’m truly loving lemmy but I’m sad to say goodbye to Reddit as I’ve known it.
