    Last night I went on my Twitter for the first time in ages only to find my account had switched from private to public without me knowing. I am furious. I post pics of my child on there and have also talked about my abuser on there. Not to mention everything I share is in the context of it being PRIVATE to my handful of online friends who use it. I am deleting the account today but I have no idea how long it was just sitting there open and who may have seen what.

      Probably happened as part of the changes they did to make it so only logged in users can view any tweets at all. Looks like twitter is intent on killing itself.

        Such a shit show. Plus Twitter hardly works half the time if you aren’t using the app. I refuse to have the app otherwise I will totally go on and doomscroll, but the browser version is awful ever since Elon took over. Hence hardly going on lately.

      That’s just awful. Hopefully having a small footprint means it was un-noticed but not knowing I’m sure is not a nice feeling. Hugs Star… I deactivated my account yesterday when I realised I had to log in to see content and thought, meh, I don’t use it, they have transphobia in their dna and Elon Musk is a jerk.

        Yes thankfully just a little account though I notice the views per tweet were up from like 10 to 30-40 😩 I’ve basically just been delaying the admin of closing the account and organising where to stay connected with people elsewhere but this is beyond the last straw for me. And agreed. I’m so done with these misogynistic transphobic god knows what else fuck head run social media companies.

    I finished my Lizzo masterpiece!! After many many hours of drawing.

    Edit: Pictured is a drawing of US Singer Lizzo in the colours of the rainbow (red, yellow, pink, green, purple, orange and blue) with the text version to the name Lizzo in the colours of the rainbow stacked on top of each other. At the bottom of the design there is a lightly bronzed flute that was also drawn.

    Oh no. Came home last night to see a white rose placed on the windscreen of my opposite neighbour’s car. She’s elderly and the only one who talked to everyone and knew everything about the place, but been unwell for quite a while and I haven’t seen or heard from her in months. I remember how lonely and weak she was at times.

    Just heard some noise outside my door and opened it to see… her sister and niece were there in her apartment and they confirmed the worst. :( RIP, N. You might’ve been a bit of a curmudgeonly old soul at times but I hope you meet many wonderful fluffy kitties wherever you go. (She loved soxcat)

    So I was browsing r/melbourne and I saw a post that said hmu if your a teenaged girl. I wasn’t gonna reply but i thought fuck it. So I asked “How old are you?”. Straight away a chat message. I chose to ignore. Then the post was deleted. My instinct says “You dirty fucking cunt”.

      I’m in my 40s, and I’ve helped out with the local kids’ soccer thing on Friday afternoons after school and various other things. Teenage girls think I’m great – I guess I give off a “cool dad” vibe or something. But teenage girls are incredibly annoying. I can’t even imagine actively seeking them out.

        Yeah… I just cannot imagine wanting to do ANYTHING with people under the age of 18. Like I get that for a lot of predators it is about power, but you’re 27 hanging out with a 16 y/o, that’s fuckin’ loser behaviour mate. Sure the 16 y/o might think you’re cool because you’ve got a car and you can drink alcohol. But 27 and deciding that people your own age can’t wise up to your tricks, so you choose to hang out with teenagers? Gross.

      There’s someone in my area whose greyhound wears not only a raincoat, but also bootees. Very cute, and it’s so used to them it doesn’t even do a funny walk

        My sister has a greyhound. Because she has approximately 0% body fat on her Molly needs to wear pyjamas each night during winter. Every night after dinner she trots over to the box where her pyjamas are kept and makes intense eye contact with you until you put them on her.

        Good for the greyhound that it’s used to the shoes. Shame for you because watching dogs doing the bootie walk is a 100/10 dopamine hit

    Had a great day at the op shops. Got special edition copies of Deliverance and The Fifth Element with commentaries and docos, a michael franti cd, a packet of jewellery findings with some top quality crystals for $1( will string a necklace later tonight ) and a good jumper for doing calligraphy in as it won’t show ink stains. Plus a cool genu-wine vintage marcasite ring. Nice . 😀

        I just need a cat to complete this and I’ll be living the dream.

        Real talk though, I have been seriously considering a hot water dispenser, even if not in my bedroom, since I’ve been having a million hot drinks this winter. I prefer my plain water warm, too
