Hey, we still haven’t been able to find a secure way to poll everyone yet. I’ve really been wanting to ask (in the negative, to be more inclusive) what proportion of Hexbear is queer. This isn’t going to be super scientific or anything as a result, but just a quick guess.
Please respond to this post with the following emojis :
For yes, you ARE a cisgender heterosexual (cishet):
For no, you are NOT a cisgender heterosexual (cishet):
For unsure, as in you are UNSURE or QUESTIONING if you are queer, transgender, a cisgender heterosexual (cishet), etc:
If you have anything to add, please use a spoiler tag below your answer like so:

hi!
imagine being on Hexbear for any length of time and still being cisgender
:sadness:
does being non-conforming to the colloquial understanding of masculinity count?
I mean, that is basically the asterisk I put after I call myself cisgender. And even then, only in the sense that I don’t identify with the stuff that the boomer men around me consider to be masculine (ie: steaks, football, and diy auto maintenance culture). Signifiers that are frankly becoming dated at this point.
The only thing that I can call traditionally masculine that fits me, is that I like working with shit. If it’s something I can get inside of and understand, you better be damn fucking sure I’m tinkering and fixing it on my own terms.
Friends and family tend to call me Złota Rączka
That sounds good. I never really looked into getting into mechanics. Idk, I never tear myself apart over it like some folks do these days. I’m just me, I guess. We’re all ourselves.
No, I’m a collection of various personalities I’ve copied over the years in an attempt to seem more normal
Duuuude, a plural system that’s just all the Ryan Gosling characters would be so cool. I’d hang out with them all day.
Yeah it’s hard work, and without experience or good habits, or just knowledge in general one is bound to hit a wall or possibly even break the thing even worse.
That’s why I don’t really like the guys who are in it “to prove something”, because they always end up making the situation worse. This is one generically masculine thing that I don’t like in other men, because rarely anyone’s good at it. At least from my experience.

Thing is I really like being a dude. Just a different type of dude most people would consider somewhat effeminate.
I also have a really deep fucken voice and I love it.
