Yeah it’s amazing that some people don’t realise how much the first iPhone changed. Smartphones were absolute garbage before it. Sure, my Windows Molbile phone had more features on paper but it was heavy af and the interface was terrible, buggy and cumbersome to use. The iPhone made that all easier and introduced UI patterns that are still being used in almost every product with a touch screen to this date.
