Work says we’re not allowed water on the floor as it’s a contamination risk. Okay.
Work also fails to provide us with cups to drink out of the in-warehouse water dispenser.
Work then proceeds to threaten us with write ups because our pick rate sucks…largely do to the fact that we have to go to the canteen (it’s a big warehouse) to get water.
Join a union, mate!
I’m off work for a few days (yay), but my team leader thought it would be an amazing idea to hold a meeting about new contracts and new pay grades… I have no choice but to login, because it involves my wages.
My internal calendar is convinced that today is Friday…

My wrist still hurts from falling off my skateboard at the weekend. Not swollen but very uncomfortable.

Bin men are on strike. No green bin collections for a month now so the collection of cuttings in the garden are slowly taking over. I’ll probably have to do an actual tip run. I hate going to the tip.

Got Foo Fighters tickets for Manchester yesterday but apparently my brother is going to try to get tickets for London tomorrow. Not sure if I should try to get tickets for London too and then sell the Manchester ones, or just stick to the evening out with my wife as planned.

Is your tip still open? When we had bin strikes last year they closed the tips too.
Yup, they’re opening up earlier at the weekend to compensate. Presumably I could tip out my garden rubbish onto the road and someone would have to take it away? obviously I wouldn’t flytip
