If I could be totally honest, I would like at some point in my life to have a blue banana and maybe one of those Japanese square melons (or just make one myself). There’s a lot of obscure produce (even in places like the Midwest) that are honestly worth praise.
I miss “grapples” I don’t know if anyone else remembers those, but they were apples that tasted like grape soda. They came in a 4-pack and I loved them as a kid. Haven’t seen them anywhere since.

If you ever get the chance mayapples are wayy better than pawpaws imo (tho they are alot harder to forage for)
