I think he used to be but then went Independent but still leans conservative or something and the blonde woman who cohosts with Ryan Grim on Wednesdays and Fridays is also a conservative, idk there’s a whole history/lore to that show but leftist journalists in the anglosphere are a bit scarce and Krystal Ball and Ryan Grim are some of the few. It’s actually been really interesting to watch how some of his old worldviews unraveled in the course of their journalism over time. I’m half-expecting him to become a leftist in a few years if the trend continues.
