I have a few I hate. Those decoy trees are a pain to kill. Those gloom hands are scary AF. Only dealt with 1 but it was terrifying Anything gloom is annoying.

What’s your experience with them. I was flying down from sky island to a shrine somewhere near necluda. Didn’t have enough stamina so I fall and gloom hand chases me and I barely survive

For me I’m still playing on 1.0.0 so “wasting” gems isn’t a big deal but the gems produce a much larger aoe effect and I think are more powerful. I have accidentally killed myself more times than I like by being too close and raining down napalm in the form of ruby arrows on overworld bosses and Lynels. If I go into bullet time to do it I don’t really notice the massive frame drops that come with multi-shot bows.

By endgame, my least favorite enemy by FAR were the stalblins. Nothing in my inventory with less than 55 power and these dorks want 2 durability for 2 damage.

Explain plz. Like, do you just throw them at the ground?

Yep, just toss one at the ground in the center of them all. It has a pretty large radius and will one shot kill the group.

Any of the usual methods. Throw them, use an arrow, or Fuse them to a weapon. They’re particularly effective on a Korok weapon because they can be used over and over.

Stal monsters can only exist in darkness, so the bright light kills them.

I did not hear that they one shotted stals. This will save me some heartache. I need to remember that when they keep falling apart and rebuilding themselves at the bottom of a mountain and then running back up to get hit and then slide down the mountain to rebuild themselves.

Agreed, I’m not even close to endgame but I’m already rolling my eyes when these guys show up.

I started shooting them with arrows though, to take care of them in just one hit/durability. Will have to try FlagonOfMe’s suggestion of dazzlefruit as well.

Red enemy: one-shot it. Blue enemy: kill in three hits. Silver enemy: I have to hit that thing soooo many times, even with a high-damage weapon.

That basically why I stock up on damage boosting meals and carry some Lynel Saber weapons that net you like 70+ damage after a fuse and potentially 120+ if you have a fusion boosting weapon. You can endlessly repair those sort of weapons by heading to death mountain to find a few rock octos. Combined with Tarry Town for breaking Lynel Saber off your broken weapon, once you have 10+ Silver Lynel Sabers, you are pretty much golden and you can reuse it however many times you want.

I always find myself using heavier weapon so I can just spin attack on silver enemy, they die fast after taking a few round.

I also have a laser turret to cheese the army of silver enemies if I needed to though those can be expensive, like 100+ zionites depending on batteries.

The best one is the Saber of the Seven. It’s 138 damage and has good durability. You normally can’t repair it with Rock Octoroks, but if you first pop off its fused item in Tarrey Town, then fuse the Saber to some other weapon, a Rock Octorok will repair it! Then you just pay another 20 rupees to pop it off the other weapon and re-fuse a Silver Lynel horn to it. It’s a chore, but it saves you needing a bunch of diamonds to rebuild it.

Another option is a Zora Sword. Use a Splash Fruit to make yourself wet for 20 seconds. It doubles the damage which can then be 140+. Much simpler to repair, but tedious having to use the fruit. Works great in the rain, though, or in wet caves. Or you could make some rainmaker contraption. Or maybe fuse a Hydrant to your shield? I don’t know if you can get wet that way. I think facing a Lynel or Gleeok should make Link wet himself. 😂

    Anything ice- or electric-themed.

Dropping your weapon or being frozen in place every few seconds is such a pain in the butt. 😬

Don’t forget your rito armor or rubber armor, as set bonus makes you impervious to freezing and electricity. There is another item that a certain group stole, however, that provides the same effect as the rubber set.

I’m not sure what you mean by trigger. They appear in certain spots like every enemy. If you go there you will find them.

The stal monsters work the same way. They spawn in certain areas but only reveal themselves when you get close (at night). So for both they will appear when you go to the right area.
