Yeah, these are excellent points as well. I do find that Google closure lib provides a lot of mileage, but at the same time there is a lot of complexity and lots of gotchas in the current workflow. Creating something that’s easier to reason about would be nice. And it could be that it’s just a matter of having better ergonomics for minification and pruning.
