so this seems like solid proof for my theory that imperialism is not at all necessary for having the US “middle class” quality of life. it’s just ‘necessary’ for that if ghouls are hording the majority of your countries’ wealth (so you need the tiny fraction left for you to be multiplied by the exploitation of others to be “middle class”)
Absolutely, if US economy was socialist and the workers were the primary beneficiaries of labor then US could have a phenomenal standard of living based on its internal economy.
