Kidnapping of Hersh Goldberg-Polin
Goldberg-Polin was reportedly working with an initiative that was using soccer to bring Israeli and Palestinian children together.
Peace is bad for business, he had to be stopped
I’m sure the children of Gaza were all very glad this dude that moved there from Chicago to ethnically cleanse their land was part of an Apartheid soccer club.
Why does nobody understand that all the people Hamas kidnapped were actually right about the bust everyone in Gaza out of their concentration camp?
This is the best summary I could come up with:
He was seriously injured when militants rampaged through the music festival he was attending near the Gaza border during Hamas’ unprecedented Oct. 7 terrorist attack on Israel.
In the video, Goldberg-Polin shows that he is missing his left hand, and there are some marks visible on his head and face, but he speaks clearly in Hebrew and appears otherwise thin but healthy.
The statement he delivers, clearly under duress in Hamas captivity, includes a litany of insults and admonishments for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for failing to secure a deal for the remaining hostages’ release.
Hamas has previously issued false statements about the hostages’ fate, accusing Israel of killing people who were later found alive.
The video was released the day after Jews marked the Passover holiday, and the Israeli-American man’s mother Rachel Goldberg was quoted Tuesday by the French news agency AFP as saying, “all of the symbolic things we do at the seder will take on a much more profound and deep meaning this year.”
Goldberg told CBS’ “Face the Nation” moderator Margaret Brennan earlier this month that her family was living through “a painful, staggeringly indescribable odyssey” as they waited for news of her son.
The original article contains 468 words, the summary contains 199 words. Saved 57%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!
He should have stayed in California instead of colonizing stolen and ethnically cleansed land and partying next to a concentration camp.
“he deserved it because - he played music in a heated geopolitical landscape”
Yeah nah that doesn’t do it for me. No one deserves that, period.
He moved from his native country to live in a country built on ethnic cleansing and whose populated are indoctrinated to demonise and dehumanise the indigenous population. He then went to a music festival that is adjacent to the world’s largest concentration camp and in Kibbutzim built on ethnically cleansed villages. Had he not been abducted he would be murdering civilians and trying on dresses with his IDF Unit in Gaza right now.
Why do I feel like you live on colonized land?
