This seems incredibly short sighted. People don’t like having their voice silenced, for good reason. Refuse them a chance now and they’re more likely to make their displeasure known in the general election when it will have a much greater effect.

I find it hilarious as the “vote uncommitted” movement(?) specifically says that they will vote for whoever is on the Dem ticket in the General Election. This is just a complete self own by the Democratic Party.

When party members show a lack of support it suggests that the independent voters are also likely to be questioning their support. It is atill a message that might influence his campaign if it was anything other than Israel.

Precisely, the more of this sort of stuff happens the more people start realizing that the veneer of democracy is paper thin.

Remember the quote “if voting mattered, they would make it illegal”?

    Here we are.

    Not saying voting matters, btw

It only matters in how it makes their vibes feel; which is why they’re doing this. This is the same kind of spite that they ratfucked Sanders with-- not that Sanders would’ve been any net positive.

This is very disingenuous. It wasn’t cancelled “to deny uncommitted challenge”

It was cancelled to save money.

They have always done this. They cancelled Obama’s and Clinton’s re-election primaries as well.
