It’s clearly referring to the future events (the final judgement) when Christ’s enemies will be thrown to the place prepared for Satan and his angels. The story is about future events. No matter how you want to frame it, there is no way that’s a command to kill people in the present. Even a plain reading shows you this.
Luke 19:11 even shows that it is referring to the Kingdom of God, something which hasn’t come yet.
