    This is dumb. The sovereignty of embassies needs to be respected. Between Israel bombing an embassy, Ecuador raiding one, and Venezuela doing this, we’re seeing a deterioration in diplomacy that is concerning

      Unlike the other two which are clear violations of embassy sovereignty, cutting off external resources doesn’t seem like a violation to me. Argentina could just buy gas and run generators.

        I agree it’s not as serious as the other two but I still see it as a petty punitive measure that does nothing to help resolve anything. Personally, I feel access to utilities should fall under an embassy’s protection as it’s not really logistically feasible for an embassy to provide their own utilities.

    Petty, yet aggressive and annoying. I don’t know about the conflict, but generally speaking that seems like a well done dick move.
