As per title. I see many about, but the youtube reviews down on them, or they’re large. Are there any decent ones?

Sure and I should have. It’s for my caravan. I am tight on space, and my weight limit is close. So I need truly as small and light as I can. I don’t have the patience for manual grinding, and I’m wanting a fine espresso grind.

Only issue is it leaves coffee grounds on the counter from the bin. But that’s easy enough to clean up.
Best investment I’ve made in the past year. That said, I feel like the OP might be looking for something smaller…
Indeed looks great but is too large. This is for in my caravan and space is tight.
The Encore is great, tip to reduce stray coffee grounds is to lightly spray the beans with water before grinding. This cuts down on the static and keeps more of the grounds in the bin.
For the more compact electric units, you see relatively high reports of mechanical failure in the motor or gearbox. Tons of that with the VS3 and there have been a fair number with the lagom mini as well, although the lagom mini has been revised and I think the current iteration is supposed to be better? (Also, obviously you can only infer so much from reported failures online, as the folks whose grinders don’t break are less likely to announce it.)
The new grinder from the ridiculously named MHW-3Bomber which looks a bit like a beefed up VS3 seems interesting, but no way to know about longevity. Turn SK40/SD4 is pretty small, folks don’t generally love it compared to higher end grinders but I don’t think there’s a lot of reports of breakdowns.
Lots of folks apparently use drills with hand grinders as an alternative solution.
Re: the mechanical issues these may be more of a concern if you grind lighter roasts
When I was researching, for handheld, manual grinders seemed to be what was recommended. I figured I didn’t want to deal with that every morning though and got the Oxo conical burr grinder and am happy with it.
Fellows new Opus conical burr grinder looks really compact. Its price point is interesting at 195 usd. I’m sure it’s more than decent, but nerds would nitpick over better grinders at similar prices.
Is the Niche Zero small enough?
Hmm definitely larger than I want, and so is that price 😀 gorgeous though!
