    I don’t, I just run the community and pull pics from various bat rescues.

    It’s actually quite funny, I had nothing to do with bats, but when the big Reddit migration happened, people were starting threads saying they missed certain communities that they could get on Reddit.

    One person said they wanted a bat community. I thought “what the hell, why not” and started one. Since June, I posted hundreds of bat pics and learned quite a lot about them.

    I’m now a bat person! I have bat necklaces! I donate to bat rescues! It’s a bit insane, but I’m glad it happened.

        They are adorable, and so important for pollination! The more I learn, the more I love them.

          Random bat fact that I found funny: I remember reading something about how people thought that bats must have extraordinary reaction times since they come out of their caves in large numbers, while flying in tight spaces.

          Then they put a slow motion camera in the entrance to a cave and saw that the bats just sort of play bumper bats while they fly out. Just flying into each other willy nilly.
