If you want to keep the subreddit on topic but reduce its scope then you could make it so that only official GGG news can be posted there.
It would completely kill it in the off season and muffle a lot of the hype in peak season. It might even be beneficial for GGG since there wouldn’t be massively upvoted flame threads anymore.
I’d love to see an announcement that only posts from GGG employees are allowed.
That is a good proposal. It wouldn’t be very engaging, which is exactly what we need.
