I just saw Unfiltered by Samdish, featuring Prashant Kishor as today’s guest. His agenda - to spread awareness amongst the people of Bihar, one of the many so-called BIMARU states. That video throws a little bit of glimpse into what goes into his publicity for vote-awareness. It was not a political campaign, mind you.

After watching that video, I could not help but draw comparison between this and Bharat Jodi Yatra. I’m convinced that Rahul Gandhi is probably the worst face of the opposition, not just because he’s a liberal, and that his speaking skills suck, but also because he has zero charisma, his connection with the masses is non-existent. What do you expect from a child that grew up eating from a silver spoon? Can you even relate with this guy?

Wasn’t Mallikarjun Kharge the prime minister candidate? Apparently not, as I’ve not seen a single campaigning by this guy. Maybe this old fart Kharge is already six feet deep? Cuz it’s all about RaGa, right? Great-gramps was the prime minister, so was his grandma and his daddy. Raja-beta syndrome at it’s finest.

Prashant Kishor, despite being a commoner, with no special connections to any of the dynastic families, and born to a shit-hole state with no infrastructure, has everything to prove for himself - he’s the one known as the king-maker, he is really analytical and worldly-wise, his way of presenting exudes confidence, his choice of words for speech is simple and straight-forward, his interaction with the local masses and his campaign organization is just top-notch.

Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra 1.0 and 2.0 were both useless. Nobody knows what the goal of this campaign was. Rahul Gandhi stole the spotlight for regional leaders. And clearly, the godi media does not give a damn about this guy, neither does the last remaining bastion of independent journalists. Now, the center-left + left coalition is associated with this incompetent man-child. Buddy, you’re 40 years old, no one cares about what mommy said, your stupid dream or the potato machine.

And what does this loser do when Modi does something unconstitutional? Attend a foreign university and complain like a toddler, instead of allying with leftists, conquering geographic pockets like South India, Seven Sisters and Central India. This idiot does not care about BJP stealing his own ministers by bribing them to switch sides?

If the Gandhis did not have such a huge ego, they would’ve let Kanhaiya Kumar in his stead. Kanhaiya was a really promising youngster, and a fellow leftist. Kanhaiya’s tongue is so damn sharp, he was able to own senior leaders from the BJP. Sachin Pilot was also a great youth leader, although a little on the non-aggressive side. And let’s also talk about Shashi Tharoor - although I dislike him for being a part of the centre-left INC, I really like this guy as a alternative leader for his eloquent speech. To hell with the Gandhi family, and the incompetent senior leaders, whose only job is to feed their ego. This country is doomed, as long as this idiot exists.

    But can he be the face of the opposition. He too seems too ‘eloquent’, doesn’t exude the image of a leader capable of pulling the masses in.

    And in reality, it’s all just PR. RaGa can become a better face in months, if the mainstream media portrays him like that and the congress IT cell gets major funding.

    But yes, RaGa is not a good face for the elections because he’s never even become an MLA and many of his opponents and associates have showed their mettle in governance.

    I disagree that changing RaGa would work tho. INC, as it presently exists would face great restructuring if the Gandhi family is moved from power. The chaos would probably benefit the NDA more than I.N.D.I.A. Rahul himself should find and organically hand over the reigns to a good substitute to avoid that.
    Tho, if the plan is longterm then no issues.

      Shashi Tharoor would have a better image in front of the educated public - you know, your typical English-speaking boomer uncle who’s a BJP bhakt? At least he could replace the cocky idiot Jaishankar. Yeah, sure, he will not be appreciated by the common folks, but if he had well-spoken leaders below his ranking, it could definitely be a possibility. But honestly, I would bet on Kanhaiya. He’s a really good spokesperson. He is (used to, recently haven’t heard anything from him) be known to be closer to the common folks.
