In the heart of Minnesota, Stands a company named MyPillow. Mike Lindell the owner, with visions grand and tall. Now in a pinch, his back against the wall.

Evicted from Shakopee, for rent unpaid it’s true. $200K in the hole, what’s a mogul to do?

An empire once bright, Now woes widespread.
Suits in billions, may not last the night. Funds and Fox friends fled.
Lindell boldly proclaims, “I am far from dead!”

Four months payments skipped. A landlord’s biggest fear. First Industrial’s sayin, “Pay up! You can’t stay here.”

Lindell - a Trump supporter, with claims that stirred the pot, finds his empire crumbling, from battles that he fought.

Defamation’s hefty price, in billions it does sum. With Dominion and Smartmatic sayin, “You can’t just spray and run.”

Once a lawyer’s dream, now they are skipping. One was heard to say “Lindell cannot pay, It’s time to be getting.”

Fox cut commercials- a payment feud to blame. Then sales plummeted, adding to that flame.

With $10K to his name, and a truck left to his claim Lindell braves a storm, amidst wind and rain.

Auctioning his equipment- from forklifts to a chair. And subleasing an apartment, in hopes to clear the air.

A direct-to-consumer transition, he hopes will pave the way. For MyPillow’s resurgence, to see a brighter day.

But in this tale of ambition, where dreams fly to dust. It’s a reminder of the edge, between a boom and bust.

For Lindell and MyPillow, the future’s yet unwritten. In the land of 10,000 lakes, he was only bitten.

We (you and me) Will rue the day! When we refused to listen.

It’s a shame that this jackass was so enthusiastic and persistent in making his irresponsible claims. Dozens of honest Minnesotans lost their jobs because of him.

Did I miss something? Did he go woke? I thought that was the only way to go broke. Or did the (((global elites))) add another method? /s

For those not in the know, the (((parans))) bit is an allusion to how 4chan shitheads depict Jews. It’s a white supremacy thing. I’m not accusing MiltonClowns of white supremacy. I’m saying they’re satirizing it.

Thanks for pointing out the satire. I loathe the /s tag but felt the risk of straight up looking antisemitic required it.

His company was boycotted for his political views, which as we all know is not a normal function of free market economics, but is in fact cancel culture, which is of course anti-freedom, anti-democracy, and anti-America; therefore, to correct this grave injustice, everyone should’ve been forced to buy his pillows against their will, under penalty of death. It’s the most freedomist solution that could’ve ever freedomed.

Just like all those advertisers hiding behind “free speech” for not funding X. You either support freedom or you get a train ticket. Denying Musk funding for the international town square is fascism!

so, looking at warehouse leasing costs, it’s $6-11/sqft/year.

50,000 sqft is a tiny size in the area (ranging from 30k for a few, but most around 100-200k sqft easy.) Lets go with 50k just be generous.

that comes to 25-46k/month. Because of how commercial eviction works MN… there’s usually going to be a late notice, then another late notice one or two months out. negotiation, “sure we can help you out (but only because the courts want us to let you grift the shit out of us first.)”. when those are missed, they’ll usually try mediation/arbitration, which then grifters like Lindell will just blow through, getting several more months. Then, the courts take a month or two to get involved.

throw in a property manager who actually believed his shit, at 25k/month, it could easily take the 8 months to rack up to 200,000.

and this is ignoring any ‘some is better than none’ deals that might have happened before starting the process.

Your numbers seem about right this is probably about just recovering some money out of the lease as “MyPillow has more or less vacated but we’d like to do this by the book,” attorney Sara Filo, representing First Industrial, said in a hearing in eviction court Tuesday. Source

Given his history with addiction I wonder if he can even help himself. The way he acts is compulsive and self-destructive like he is addicted to the attention, and/or conspiracies and even on the brink of ruin he still can’t shut up. I will not be surprised if he’ll be back on the crack, or hitting the bottle after that.

One of the few things that give me hope now-a-days is seeing so many right wing extremists going broke. Nothing in today’s world has more influence than the all-mighty dollar, so imo seeing people collectively refuse to support this shit with their bank accounts speaks a lot louder than things like polls.

I think there is a tremendous amount of luck involved in the game. people convince themselves that they are smart or have worked hard. they discount luck. you have more chance if you are born into money or around it. beyond that. there is a danger of complacency or arrogance. this hubris leads to downfalls…
