I’ve been really happy with the following lately:
16g:275ml coffee:water, coffee ground on the fine side of medium. Wet paper filter, 205 degrees Fahrenheit water, conventional brew, 10 minute extraction, swirl to settle grounds to bottom of the press, and a gentle plunge.
It’s considerably more work than a prismo recipe, but I think its well worth it
I have been enjoying V60 Killer with light-medium roasts lately. If you are into experimenting, check out AeroPrecipe, many interesting recipes to try.
Also check out AtomicPress if you’re an android user. The developer sought to take the James Hoffman dice and make them… A bit more unreasonably random. Sometimes the random recipes stumble into something truly excellent and unexpexted
Thanks, this is very interesting. Apparently there is also an open sourced online variant: https://thewinniewu.github.io/aeropress-dice/
Not sure if it is unreasonably random as well though.
I was using that one for a while but I really wanted something that was nice on my phone, and the unreasonably random is a major draw
