They are not in the business of being good. They are in the business of representing workers and fighting for their rights. Them being good by default or not doesn’t matter. The only good or bad that matters here is wheter they are representing workers well or not.
Not OP but I’m more inclined to give the benefit of the doubt to the guy earning a fraction of what he produces than the dickweed who does nothing of importance and earns way more in a year than the workers will in a lifetime.

If you look at the start of this thread I was saying that they don’t always represent workers well because the union leaders make money during strikes
