If a portrait is rotated clockwise before posting, will it be automatically rotated back counter clockwise to look as I want it?

The top is a link with an exclamation point in front of it (copying what the image picker does).
I appreciate the help! I was hoping to avoid using another site. I might have to, though. Do you know if this is a beehaw issue or jerboa?

Hmm. Well, I see how something like ExifEraser makes portraits landscape. But there’s still something I’m missing here.
My phone wouldn’t let me do it either. From an article I skimmed through, the apps that can do this seemed a little sketch and there were reviews about people being unhappy that it needed to be connected to the internet constantly.

Yeah, I don’t know if it’s beehaw specifically as I haven’t made another account. I use the PWA so it’s not Jerboa.
From what I’ve seen, most instances are asking not to upload too much and use external. It’s hard not to for the occasional LANDSCAPE one.
Have to check the git issues and see if it’s lemmy-wide.
