If a portrait is rotated clockwise before posting, will it be automatically rotated back counter clockwise to look as I want it?

Awesome! One more newb query: how do I remove exif data?

Edit: Is there an exif data tool you’d recommend? Apparently my native photo app doesn’t do this.

Hmm. Well, I see how something like ExifEraser makes portraits landscape. But there’s still something I’m missing here.

My phone wouldn’t let me do it either. From an article I skimmed through, the apps that can do this seemed a little sketch and there were reviews about people being unhappy that it needed to be connected to the internet constantly.

          Instead, I:

          • Uploaded my pic to google photos
          • Click on the pic and hit ‘Share’
          • ‘Create Link’ (important part)
          • Go to link from browser and download that pic (Google will automatically scrub the exif data for you)

You can test the newly downloaded pic and check if the exif data exists by using this site: https://www.metadata2go.com/view-metadata
